Established in September 2019, the Arete Quartet unanimously passed the audition of the Young Chamber Concert of Kumho Art Hall, and subsequently made its debut at Kumho Art Hall Yonsei (Seoul). Two years after its founding, the quartet won the first place at the 72nd Prague Spring International Music Competition and five other special prizes, including the Bohuslav Martinu Foundation Prize. In addition, the Arete Quartet received two special prizes at the 12th Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition for the "Best Performance for String Quartet Commissioned by Toshio Hosokawa" and a scholarship from Jeunesses Musicales Germany. In 2022, the quartet obtained a special prize at the 71st ARD International Music Competition in Munich. One year later the quartet won the first prize and the special prize for the best interpretation of Mozart’s work at the 15th International Mozart Competition in Salzburg.

Quartetto Goldberg is winner of the “Piero Farulli – best Italian rising ensemble” prize from the national musical critic, first prize at Filippo Nicosia Chamber Music Award 2023, Verão Classico 2023 Academy Awards, and special prize at “Marcello Pontillo” competition 2022. 

Founded in 2021, the ensemble takes part in International festivals like Zeist Music Days, International String Quartet Academy, Allegra Festival, Verão Classico and it is regularly invited by music societies including Fondazione Società dei Concerti Milano, Società dei Concerti Trieste, Gioventù Musicale Italiana, Ticino Musica, ProQuartet – center européen de musique de chambre, Riyadh Music Hub.

Quartetto Goldberg is currently studying at Accademia Stauffer in Cremona in the class of Quartetto di Cremona and at the CRR de Paris with Miguel da Silva. The group partipated in masterclasses by Kyril Zlotnikov, Alexander Pavlovsky, Quatuor Danel, Luc-Marie Aguera, Guillaume Sutre, Cuarteto Quiroga.

The Quartett HANA was founded in April 2019 at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. In 2020, the Quartett HANA received 3rd prize at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Compe
tition in Berlin and played in the Konzerthaus Berlin. In September 2022, the quartet received a special prize “Förderpreis Jeunesse Musicales Deutschland” at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich. In April 2023, the quartet was awarded 3rd prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition on Copenhagen. In October 2023, they also received 2nd prize at the Geneva International Music Competition.
Future engagements include performances at the Mozartfest Würzburg and Heidelberger Frühling String Quartet Festival.
They have been studying with Prof.Rapaël Merlin and the Quatuor Ébène. The musicians have received musical advices, working regularly with Prof.Eberhard Feltz and Prof.Dirk Mommertz(Fauré Quartett). They have participated in masterclasses by Prof.Oliver Wille(Kuss Quartett), Prof. Heime Müller (Artemis Quartett), Prof.Gerhard Schulz(Alban Berg Quartett) and Quatuor Voce.
Since 2021 they are sponsored by Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now in Munich.
The two violinists Gyurim Kwak and Fuga Miwatashi alternate in the role of primaria.

The Hesper Quartet is a Korean-American chamber ensemble that was formed in 2022 at the Emerson String Quartet Institute of Stony Brook University. Its members hold degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music, Yale University, Stony Brook University, the Juilliard School, and Seoul National University.

Notable achievements include winning first prize at the Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition, the Servaas Competition, and the Ackerman Chamber Competition.

The Hesper Quartet has performed at a variety of venues such as the Staller Center for the Arts, Capitol Theatre Windsor, and the JeJu Cultural Arts Center in South Korea. They have collaborated with a variety of renowned artists such as Peter Wiley, Hsin Yun Huang, and Chiho Han.

“Hesper” means evening star, and like how each star in the night sky has its own story, the Hesper Quartet strives to tell the fascinating story of each work of music that they play.

The Horatio String Quartet was founded in 2023 at the Schulich School of Music of McGill’s University. Under the guidance of André Roy, the Horatio Quartet is flourishing and establishing itself as a promising, up-and-coming ensemble. The quartet was a finalist at the 2023-2024 McGill Chamber Music Competition and has performed in masterclasses for esteemed artists such as the members of the Dover Quartet and the Calidore Quartet. Bringing together a plethora of experience, members of the Horatio Quartet have performed as soloists, chamber musicians, and orchestral leaders in numerous programs across Canada and beyond. The quartet’s name is inspired by the character from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. As Horatio lives to tell the tale of Hamlet, the quartet is dedicated to delivering the message of composers who lived before us.

The Ineo Quartet has a long and exciting history. Both violinists of the quartet were the founding members of the “Selini Quartet”, created in 2015. Due to the change of two members, the group was renamed into “Ineo Quartet” in 2022. The Quartet appeared at several international festivals, such as Sion Festival, Trame Sonore Festival, Styrian Chamber Music Festival, Salzburger Festspiele and Ickinger Frühling i.a., and is prizewinner of several international competitions such as Prague Spring IMC, Szymanowski IMC and Ysaye ICM i.a.

Being chosen as the ensemble of NASOM program 2020-2022, the quartet appeared in concerts around the world, representing Austria’s musical scene. The Ineo Quartet has collaborated with artists such as P. Barragan, R. Latzko and L.Belkina.

Since their formation, they have been working under the guidance of Johannes Meissl (Artis Quartet) at MDW and were inspired by musicians such as A.Brendel, P.Vernikov, F.Kieffer, H.Beyerle.

Since 2019 the ensemble is also a part of ECMA and since 2023 of ProQuartet. Future plans include a recital at Vienna Musikverein and a CD recording with pieces by contemporary Austrian composer Richard Dünser.

Founded in 2019, the Modulor Quartet has performed at the St. Galler Festspiele, the Swiss Chamber Music Festival Adelboden, the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, Guerilla Classics Zürich and the quatres saisons festival Lausanne. The young musicians are coached by Rainer Schmidt and Anna Gebert at the Basel Academy of Music and have attended masterclasses with Eberhard Feltz, Robert Levin and Florian Donderer.

In addition to classical repertoire, the Modulor Quartet is dedicated to contemporary music and interdisciplinary projects with dance and architecture. The quartet's name pays respect to Swiss architect Le Corbusier's theory of architectural proportions – the golden ratio.
In 2021 the quartet was invited to the International Bartók Competition in Budapest. Shortly after, it was awarded a 2nd prize at the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition in Fribourg and the 1st prize at the 2022 Kiwanis Competition in Zurich. 2023 the string quartet was awarded the main prize of the Lucerne-based Marianne and Curt Dienemann foundation and in the same year got accepted to the European Chamber Music Academy and the international chamber music platform MERITA.
The Modulor quartet was nominated for the Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes 2023 (Lausanne) and qualified for the 2023 International Musicians Seminar in Prussia Cove (UK), the 2023 Carl Nielsen Chamber Music Competition (Copenhagen) as well as the 77th Concours de Genève 2023.

Founded in 2017 by four students, the Varen Quartet began their training at the Toulouse Conservatoire in Philippe Lecoq's class. They then benefited from the guidance of the Quatuor Debussy, Xavier Gagnepain, then Luc-Marie Aguera, Yovan Markovitch and Guillaume Sutre.

They have performed at a number of festivals, including Saison Bleue (at Les Abattoirs), Cordes en Ballade, Flaine and Quatuor en Pays de Fayence. The Quatuor Varen is the 2023 winner of the Véronique Daverio Foundation grant.

The Wassily string quartet was created in Lyon, France. Since the members formed the group, they never stop surprising the audience by the diversity of the pieces they play. With the main great string quartet repertoire, they never hesitate to add pieces from the 20th and 21st centuries. Very implicated in transmission, the group takes part in many pedagogical programs and mediation concerts in social centers with the support of several french and international assiociations : Musethica, La Belle Saison, ProQuartet. The Wassily Quartet was artist in residence for the 2018/2019 Opera Underground season in Lyon, playing in many cross-over projects with current music groups.
The group wins in 2018 the Tremplin Jeune Quatuor from the Philharmonie de Paris, is laureate from the FNAPEC competition, and wins the Musique au Centre Val-de-Loire competition, which produced their first album.
