Perrine Guillemot

France

Perrine began her musical training in Savoy lands with the violin, continued with the viola under the benevolent aegis of great Parisian professors, and deepened it on the banks of the Saône at the CNSMDL, taking advantage of the opportunity to spend a year in exile at the University of Montreal. Seasoned teachers, C. Gormand, P.Tournier, M.Michalakakos, I.Lequien, JP Vasseur, C.Desjardins, F.Lamarre, P.Robeau and J.Puchhammer will accompany her during these 20 years of learning, which she will complete with a pedagogical component and the obtaining of a Certificate of Aptitude for the functions of viola teacher. Passionate about ensemble music, Perrine took advantage of her years of study to join ensembles of young musicians, such as the Orchestre de la Francophonie (Canada) or the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. On the other hand, curious about the potential for cross-linking of her classical training, she has collaborated with song groups, théâtre companies, and other occasional mixes. Perrine is eager for projects and creation, she is the co-founder of the association "Va Jouer Dehors!" and of the eponymous festival (Loir et Cher), and followed an Artist Diploma course at the CNSMD of Lyon around music for viola and electronics. In 2017, she had the pleasure of joining the ranks of the viola section of the Lyon National Opera Orchestra until 2021, when she joins the Akilone Quartet.
