Prize winners

At the end of 24 recitals in the main hall of Université Lumière Lyon 2, the jury of 18th Lyon International Chamber Music Competition awarded the trios :

  • 1st prize : Pantoum Trio (Paris)
  • 2nd prize : Havisham Trio (London)
  • 3rd prize : Ex Trio (Berlin)
  • SEAM prize for dedication to contemporary repertoire : Astatine Trio (London)
  • Prize of the students in musicology of the University Lumière Lyon 2 for the best interpretation of the work of Daniel Arango-Prada : Ex Trio (Berlin)
  • Prize for the best performance of Lucien Durosoir Trio : Arabesque Trio (Zürich)
  • La Belle Saison prize : residencies and concerts : Pantoum Trio (Paris)
  • Villecroze Music Academy Prize : masterclass with Ralph Gothony from 18 au 24 September 2024 : Pantoum Trio (Paris)

 And a serie of performances and events will be proposed to the winners : Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, Prieuré de Chirens, Musée en musique de Grenoble, ProQuartet, Masterclasses de la Roque d'Anthéron, France musique, Les pianissimes, Les Concerts de poche, Moments musicaux de Chalosse, Saison Jeunes Talents (Paris), Les Concerts de poche, Les Classiques du Prieuré…

The prize-winners have been designated by the jury gathered around Vincent Coq (France), Attila Falvay (Hungaria), David Grimal (France), Louise Hopkins (UK), Mari Kodama (Japan).

The competition is a member of WFIMC.

Free admission. Reservation required, within the limit of available places and in compliance with sanitary measures.

Under the Honorary Presidency of Laurent Wauquiez, President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes, Bruno Bernard, President of the Metropolis and Grégory Doucet, Mayor of Lyon.

Thie ceremony is a return to life, on stage, and we are delighted to share this prize-winners concert with you !
